I am Beatrix Sudár, the creator of Balance Your Life. I have been working for years on how to turn health maintenance into a real, liveable system. In my own life journey I have experienced first hand how easy it is to get lost in expectations, methods and „good advice”.
I believe that by developing the right habits, we can make a significant difference to the quality of our lives.
My aim is to help others make conscious choices about what they put on their plate and how to live a more fulfilling life in the long term.
I'm Gellért Székely, sports mentor, runner, extriathlete, family man and project manager.
At first, sport was an escape; I was accepted here without ridicule, then it became a pet as results came, then a liability, and finally in 2015 I dropped it altogether. It took me 7 years of missing out to realise that if you play sport sensibly, with a healthy pushing of your limits, it provides motivation in all areas of life. So I can thank sport for many achievements, experiences and friendships again recently. This is one of the reasons why I got involved with my first mentorship and how I joined Beatrix in realising her dream.
My goal is to help you have a lifestyle that is sustainable - that you can always manage, that you have something to fall back on in every situation - and that is healthy.
My favourite story is related to Gábor, with whom I have been working continuously since 2023. He surprised himself by running his first kilometre in one piece without walking. Then we overcame other stumbling blocks and dropped the darn 20 kilos. What was important was that we always had a set goal that we agreed how we would get to - at his pace, to his liking, as he saw fit - but with Balance Your Life guidance. By 2026, we were at the point where my favourite pre-workout comment from him was “I could run a casual 10k every day”. And yes, it's possible at 42: Gabor, for example, completed the first half marathon of his life.
3 important family ‘statuses’ for me:
Mrs Katalin Balázs Sudár I am the first in the team to experience the own what a successful lifestyle change means in practice. What it's like to wake up in the morning and find that the shoulder pain I've had every morning for years is gone. What it's like to have to revamp your wardrobe because your old trousers are just falling down. And how hard it is to get your family to understand the importance of lifestyle changes. How much support and attention it takes. At the moment I'm mainly behind the scenes, making sure the system runs smoothly. My important mission is to simplify the contact with a personal presence and to establish a personal ‘it's for me/about me’ tone.
I am Mariann Székely-Sudár. The lifestyle change for me did not start from a „someday” decision, but from a health signal that stopped me and asked me to pay more attention to myself. I started looking into everything, looking for solutions, and it quickly became clear that most of my issues were in the area of nutrition and exercise.
I remember one very specific moment: I was taking the chair to the snack cupboard and I thought, „OK, I'll just unpack everything”. It went well for a couple of months. Then life happened: tired, rushed, „just popping in for a snack”, and occasionally something would slip back into the basket that had been off-limits.
Now, for me, it's „one step forward, two steps back” - when you're on your way, but a situation pulls you back into the old pattern. However, I have drawn boundaries: something might „slip in” along the way, but it doesn't move back home. It seems small, yet it makes a huge difference.
And family life brought the next question: what to give the child? What fits into everyday life without the dilemma of „healthy food or starvation”? It was here that I learned that lifestyle change is not a list of prohibitions, but a system of smart frameworks: what does the least harm and is still livable.
My family meant a lot to me in this: we had someone to think with, and sometimes literally someone to „back me up” when I was weak. This staying power is also present in our business. In our consultations, you will find that our mentors don't judge, but help you make choices - and, if necessary, help you „pack back in” when it's hard to do it alone.
And there's another quiet but big realisation: after many months, what used to feel so good suddenly doesn't feel so good anymore. Because something inside you has changed in the meantime.
My story is about a Hungarian woman living in Italy who was pregnant with her second child at the time of COVID. During this period, the focus was on health promotion, immune boosting and prevention. As a health-conscious mother, I was looking for a diet that was suitable for my family. Having practiced martial arts since childhood, and later working as a tai chi and kung fu instructor, I have made Eastern philosophy part of my life. It was then that I came across the macrobiotic lifestyle, which immediately impressed me because it combined Eastern philosophy with Western nutritional science. This system does not prohibit anything, but encourages us to listen to our body's signals, to the energetic effects of food and to strive for balance.
I discovered that many doctors support the macrobiotic lifestyle because its principles are in line with the European Union's Code Against Cancer. I have delved deep into this science and put what I have learned into practice. In the autumn of 2021, I launched my social media profile "Lucky Fairy Macrobiotica" to share my experiences with other women and mums. In my posts, I talk about the principles of macrobiotics, Italian habits and recipes, and I get a lot of positive feedback about how I present this lifestyle in a clear and creative way.
My commitment and passion for macrobiotics deepened and I realised that I could use this knowledge to help others towards a healthier, more balanced life. That's why I decided to turn my passion into a career, and to teach and promote the macrobiotic lifestyle. My goal is to make this holistic approach accessible to everyone and to show that health is not only about our physical condition, but also about our daily choices, the quality of our food and our attitude towards life. I believe that through macrobiotics we can significantly improve not only our health but also our quality of life.
As functional nutritionists, we look at the root cause of the disease/problem, we look at the whole body, unlike Western medicine, which mainly treats symptoms.
Unfortunately, in today's fast-paced world, more and more people are struggling with stress-induced obesity, intestinal dysfunction and various health problems, so I think it's important that everyone learns the basics of good lifestyle and nutrition in their own way.
As a functional nutritionist and food scientist, I believe it's important to eat foods that support your body, your immune system and provide all the nutrients you need to stay healthy.
Working together, I help you understand how certain foods affect your body, what foods and routines are important to include in your diet, and what to avoid. I'll show you how you can put together and personalise your own diet.
